Unboxing the Mysteries of Wichita

Good Day Seascape Community. A wonderful day it is today. We’re halfway into August and it's a great experience we’ve had so far. Seascape participated in one of the biggest NFT sales of the year and we hope you didn’t miss out.

BIG BANG OF NFT

Binance NFT in July had announced one of the biggest NFT sales on the blockchain — “BIG BANG OF NFT”. This month, the Big Bang of NFT took place and gave out rare and exclusive mysteries (NFT) all packaged in mystery boxes.

It featured mysteries from seven (7) platforms on the Binance Smart Chain with interest in NFTs. The platforms include BunnyPark, KakaNFT, Polychain Monsters, X World Games, My Neighbor Alice, MOBOX, and our own, Seascape Network.

Seascape in the event introduced a new Scape character — Wichita. The special NFT was given out in special mystery boxes. The scope of this article will enlighten on the new character Wichita.

However, we’ll take a holistic approach that will briefly summarize NFTs and scapes.

What are NFTs

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a cryptographic token that represents a unique digital asset encoded on a blockchain. They function as verifiable proofs of authenticity and ownership within a blockchain network. The technology of NFTs ensures uniqueness, indestructibility, and verifiability, among other traits of each token. NFTs are not interchangeable with each other and introduce scarcity to the digital world.

What are Scapes

Scapes are the NFTs of the Seascapes Network. It is important to know that each Scape character has a name and personality unique to itself. Each character also has a quality that pertains to their rarity.

Features & Uniqueness of Scapes

Scapes have 3 unique features. Users need to be familiar with this. The unique features of scapes are in character, quality, and generation. Other modifications may be introduced in the future with additional tokens; however, these are the most important vectors of variance for available scapes.

Character

There are different characters in the Seascape universe. The available characters are Thump, Trixie, Quicksand, Dimebag, Armstrong, Mercy, and Tatters. The BIG BANG OF NFT introduces Wichita to that category increasing the total number thereof.

About Wichita

Wichita is a limited edition Scape of the Seascape Network tagged as a “zombie slayer” character.

Features of Wichita

Wichita just like other NFTs of the Seascape Network is available in 5 qualities. These qualities differ in power and can be distinguished by the frame of the character’s portrait. Each frame has a design unique to its quality. Among the qualities are Common, Special, Rare, Epic, & Legendary.

Prospects

With the release of Wichita, Seascape has promised us a new gaming experience. This new game called “Zombie Farm” will be the fifth DeFi game on the network. Hence, the release of the zombie slayer.
